The prime purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively.

Above all, it can help prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether one is an athlete,  a once a week jogger or someone who does not participate in sport.

This treatment is not just for the sports person: anyone can benefit from sports massage, including people in physically demanding jobs and office workers (occupational, emotional and postural stress may produce many similar characteristics to sports injuries).

I am a Level 4 trained sports massage therapist. I have experience of working with a wide range of clients from my freelance work and now with 207 Health and fitness.

I treat people with muscular/joint injuries and of course those who have muscle tension due to stress and or everyday activities. I absolutely love what I do and get great pleasure from seeing my clients wellbeing improved from massage. I love lifting weights! From my own journey and education with this, I have a much better understanding of how frustrating getting injured is. Consequently I have learnt what prehab and maintenance to do, to help prevent injuries.

Using this knowledge I want to provide the best care and information for clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
