SPORTS MASSAGE
I am a Level 4 trained sports massage
therapist. I have xperience of working with a
wide range of clients from my freelance work and
now with 207 Health and fitness.
I treat people with muscular/joint injuries and of course those who have muscle tension due to stress and or everyday activities. I absolutely love what I do and get great pleasure from seeing my clients wellbeing improved from massage.
I love lifting weights! From my own journey and education with this, I have a much better understanding of how frustrating getting injured is. Consequently I have learnt what prehab and maintenance to do, to help prevent injuries.
Using this knowledge I want to provide the best care and information for clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
SENIOR SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST
RHIANNON
I began my career in health and fitness by
moving from the UK to Australia to spend
a year at the NSW Institute of Sport. Here I got
to work with lots of wonderful athletes, and
learnt a lot about myself. I realised that much as I
loved playing sport, health is where my heart is!
I had been personal training for 4 years when I qualified as a level 3 sports massage therapist. My knowledge of how the body responds to exercise means I can give effective take home advice to my massage clients to help them get the most out of each.
Sports massage can really help everyone to function at optimum, whether it be helping to alleviating niggles so a parent can pick up their children pain free, or aiding with rehab from a sporting injury. Seeing the change in people from session to session is so rewarding, helping people feel better is such a good feeling!

OSTEOPATHY & PHYSIOTHERAPY
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment designed to provide pain relief for the body's structural and mechanical
problems. A gentle form of treatment, Osteopathy can benefit most types of aches, pains and strains in people of every age. An
Osteopath undergoes an extensive four year course including anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body. This knowledge
allows an Osteopath to analyse your problems and diagnose your complaints, using a variety of clinical skills, with the use of Xrays
and other tests if necessary.Osteopathy is the first complementary therapy to have undergone statutory regulation by Parliament. This
gives an Osteopath similar status to a doctor or dentist and guarantees a patient the equivalent high level of protection.
The Wimbledon Osteopathic Clinic is one of the most established practices in South West London and having been in Wimbledon Village for nearly 40 years, now shares premises with 207 Health and Beauty.
Osteopathic treatment is given for musculoskeletal conditions with emphasis on management and prevention.
We are a friendly and caring Practice and all ages are treated. We have a very close link with all local doctors and a private hospital for X-rays and Specialist referral. Treatment can be claimed from your private health insurance company - eg Bupa, AXA PPP etc. (with doctor's referral).
David qualified in 1984 and has a special interest in sports injuries. His website iswww.wimbledonosteopaths.co.uk
